Additional Description: This 1960 Studebaker Lark has a great legacy of a true survivor that was hidden for nearly two decades and only owned by one family. There has since been plenty invested to make this is truly rolling history that feels solid on the boulevard. Oasis Green is a minty hue that is believed to be the same application this one got at the South Bend factory 60 years ago. So if you love an original car, you know this finish is less about perfection and more about wearing its age with pride. And this one really does make for an honored classic with a story to tell. It has been owned by the same family since new. It had about 53k miles on the odometer before being parked for 18 years. And since it was a low mileage machine when it was taken off the road, it really turned this into an ideal time capsule. It's level of preservation is ideal, because Larks were a highly detailed package. The front has a grille so imposing that they would use it on the trucks. And there's a line of trim that starts here, wraps around the front, and loops all the way around the back. This same trim also showcase a stylish kick-up in the rear fender and the artful design of the trunk. And there's more great detail work with the wraparound rear window, tastefully integrated taillight design, and even the bright factory wheel covers. It's all quite original and quite well preserved on this example. Inside is more of the true survivor feeling as the sea of green continues. This is believed to be an all-original interior, and the condition of the seats reminds you a low-mileage car means little seat time. In total, the colors and the patterns on the door panels, headliner, and dash all seem to come together nicely for a fully coordinated experience. You'll even notice cool classic details, like the factory AM radio with a Motorola FM receiver mounted under the dash. The classic dual-spoke steering wheel only has a skinny stalk for the gearshift on the column. So you get a great view of the gauges as well as the open road. This has a true time capsule-like feeling, right down to the trunk with full-size bias-ply tire. Just like the rest of this car, the 170 cubic-inch straight-six has a fantastic original-style presentation. But when it came time to awaken this Lark from years of slumber, they invested heavily in making sure this sedan was going to be a good driver. They started with rebuilding the engine. Plus, this has a rebuilt carburetor, generator, and starter. And the right fundaments are new, including the belts, hoses, battery, tires, and exhaust. The column-shifted three-speed transmission was even given an overhaul and a new clutch assembly. And there's only a couple hundred miles on the whole package since completion - so it's enough to know it was quality work but it still remains fresh. The Lark was an economy car when new, and the price today of this fine-driving survivor proves it still knows the value of a dollar. So don't miss out on a terrific vintage deal. Call today!!!

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1960 Studebaker LARK recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1960 Studebaker LARK problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
